The R&D lab is a key element of CCKF Ltd, an innovative software development company. CCKF has strategically positioned research projects under the European Seventh Framework Programme as an integral part of its overall research vision. Through collaboration with academic partners the strengths already in the R&D lab will be further enhanced. The primary goal for all research performed at the lab is to further the development of a truly intelligent learning system which understands the needs of users.
One of the areas of ongoing research is how the system continuously monitors the individual (and itself) to provide intelligent feedback to each learner, so that real progress can be determined, and future directions planned for every individual user of the system. This creates an intelligent ‘learning space’ that goes far beyond the capabilities of current learning software.
